Have the heard the person who has spoken about the things they have accomplished. You know the one who may say that they did a year of college, or made it half way through a certain job.
You may even be that person yourself. The person who feels as if they are better than someone else because they began the race, or ran further. But the truth remains that YOU DID NOT FINISH.
To take away what you may feel is a blow to yourself, you build up the attempt and downplay the non completion of the task. By doing this it often allows for you to feel a little better than someone else.
Stop comparing how far you have gotten in the course of life to another person.
Your victory is not found by comparing how far you have gotten to another. The fact is that you still quit.
You victory comes from completing the course, learning, and helping another to navigate the challenges that you faced and overcame.
Whether your ran a mile or 15 miles, life is a marathon of 26.2 miles. FINISH IT! Anything less is still quitting.
